Claire is 6 month old!

She moves....

It looks like the baby is no longer a stationary object that requires the humans to move her from place to place. This both intrigues me and concerns me at the same time. On the one paw, if she can move on her own, she can get me food. However, this also means I'm going to have to keep my eye on her to make sure she doesn't sneak up on me and grab my fur like I know she loves to do. I obtained the following video footage of these events.

She starts slow, but about a minute in she really finds her stride.



She seems very happy with this development.

Remembering ZJ

Today is exactly 3 years since losing our beloved ZJ (Zayde Johnny). Unfortunately, Claire never got to meet this remarkable man, but we make sure to tell her all about him! We know that he is watching over all his beautiful grandchildren (Beatrice, Benjamin, Henry, and Claire)

As our ZJ would say "he who has, has."

We miss him and his 'wise' sayings.

Claire is 5 months old!

It's hard to believe that this humanoid has been invading my space for the past 5 months. I have been teaching her a few new tricks while the kitchen staff (aka parents) are 'working'. Claire has begun "creeping" (pushing herself around on her stomach) and sitting up, both of which I can already do, but everyone makes a big deal when she does it.
